number of SPEC for each GGPO match

i think it's better to put the numbers of Spectators near the names of the chalengers in GGPO so we can know the best matches to see, so you think the ggpo programers can do this? if yes i want to inform them about this idea.

hmmm... you mean while they are playing so we can see the status where are more spec.
Thats good idea, but a crime is growing in this regard. who are having core2duo or much better they are promotion their fans by opening several screens....
Even you can open 5 to 8 matches and enhance the speculation by 1 to 8.
But by doing this...it can be stereotyping so some good players may fall down because, people would prefer to see only high spec. and good newbie may affect...or they may growth slow.
Overall, this ratio is low... and i will go with you...

1- when anyone find match with noobs he dont watch it after making my idea or not,it's the same case.
2- you can't open more than 5 windows in GGPO ^^ and it's useless to open many window of a match ^^
3- it's great to know the best asiatic players and i am sure there are many good player better than amuro825 and 10101010 and only asian player know their names ^^

Agree with 1 and 2, but not only Asians, they are famous in west also

Takoyaki and Hummer is famous in Europe as well as in Brazil and Mexico.

the same case of amuro825 and blow back doll the west players put a lot of time to know that amuro825 for example is very good player but asian khnow him i guess.
there are very famous asian players who play in arcade in their country who are better than those player but they don't use GGPO usually and if they use GGPO only asians may know their usernames
other case : i've heard that xiaohai play in GGPO kof 98 but i don't know his usernames and some famous player don't say their real name because many noob are going to challenge them....

having more specs in the game means the quality of game play.
nobody wana watch a match where people doing nothing but powers,cd,kicks
spectator come when u r playing different from 100s of users in room i been playing for 2.5 years now. i can understand the logic here is a simple example

i was playing with (limegreentea) this guy is from korea hes a good player u can see his name in cyberfanatix forums i played 2 matches suddenly i saw ggpo chat there was some guy writting (box box box box fdynast box ~~) and after tht i got 6 specs.

its all depend on the quality of the game play nobody know u when u r new b4fore hummer,kmg,amuro there were players like winnie ,rino transformer,live17,cola321,kyocola and etc

i do agree with scarefaag many good players of arcades who are famous like xiaohai salado etc won't use their real name while playing online coz noobs will challenge them and if they beat them somehow that will ruin their name.

comin back to spec i think putting the number of spec is good idea but if GGPO invoke the idea of ratings that could also work

in term of ranking il'll be better to put the results of the matchs too like this
{25} amuro825 (5) vs kmg (4)...
5 and 4 tell the result of the matchs : amuro825 win 5 matchs and kmg win 4
and 25 tell the number of spectators
so after that players will do their best in matchs because there are many good players who play juste for pleasure and don't show all their capacities...

yeah but that would increase the number of fake ID's one will use his real ID only when he is in mood of playing serious

Ruin.....hmmm so its all about the name and the fame..... ...
but I think some good players come and play for fun also, and without being get famed..
some good players play with their noob friends to promote their game level..e.g *tx*lobo*, Mazda, Freezer etc. and they dont have fear of being disregard by their name :/
